Look at our very own, Mrs. Judah, representing us at the state level! Anybody who knows Mrs. Judah knows just how passionate and dedicated she is! Her love for students and drive for excellence is a blessing to our school community. #TheWoodlawnWay

“No Taxation without Representation”…that’s what our 1st graders chanted as they threw the tea overboard. Students also experienced the “other” tea party, signed the Declaration of Independence, made Betsy Ross’s flag, and made George Washington puppets. Our first graders know all about our New Nation! #TheWoodlawnWay #ItsSWEETtobeanEagle

Yesterday was our 3rd Annual Father and Son Olympics! We had a packed house of Woodlawn boys and their father figures. We started our evening with Silly Sports and Goofy Games and then the Olympic Events began. Families chose from Capture the Flag, Sharks and Minnows, Gaga Ball, Dodgeball, Arcade, and Board Games. We ended our evening with a hot dog dinner and sno cones. Lots of pictures on our Facebook page.

On Admin Professional’s Day and we got to spoil these amazing Woodlawn eagles. These ladies serve selflessly behind the scenes to create the Woodlawn Magic. They greet you with a smile and ensure every detail is figured out. We couldn’t survive without them and appreciate them so much. #TheWoodlawnWay #ItsSWEETtobeanEagle

Today we had the honor of inviting a special group of people to school to honor and celebrate them! It’s School Bus Driver Appreciation Week and we honored Woodlawn’s drivers and attendants with a brunch to thank them for their selfless service to getting our students to and from school safely. #TheWoodlawnWay #ItsSWEETtobeanEagle

We recognized our volunteers and business sponsors of the year while also having our Show Choir perform for entertainment. Our kindergarteners have been learning about plants and took their learning off campus on their first field trip to Agape Family Farms! Students got to see different plants being grown and interact with farm animals too! More pictures on Facebook. #ItsSWEETtobeanEagle #TheWoodlawnWay

Our first grade friends have been creating dioramas of different animals in their habitats! Each class picked a habitat that they learned about in their unit of study and then did research on animals that live in that habitat. Their creativity is AWESOME! Check out our Facebook page for many more photos.

Woodlawn families and community...you guys showed up BIG TIME for this year's Walk-a-Palooza! We had a goal of $25,000 and you exceeded it by over $10,000. We had a wonderful walk-a-thon today and will have the incentives throughout the next few weeks. If you didn't get a chance to turn in your envelopes, you can still drop them off in the front office! It truly is SWEET to be an Eagle when we have amazing support like this! #TheWoodlawnWay

A few leaders from Mrs. McHargue’s class went to Mr. Wright’s college science class to judge their science fair projects and then went out for dinner at Caddyshack to celebrate. Way to go, Leaders! #TheWoodlawnWay #ItsSWEETtobeanEagle
