The 2024 LPH Homecoming Parade will occur on Friday, October 4, 2024. The parade will start at LPH at 10:15 am and proceed to Interlake Boulevard via the circle ending at Eucalyptus Street. Come cheer on our LPH student body as they celebrate their LPH school spirit!
👑🐲🏈 Join us tomorrow, Friday, October 4th, as the LPH Dragons take on the Frostproof Bulldogs for the 2024 Homecoming football game. Plan to arrive early to see the LPH Sound of the Dragon marching band perform at 7:15 and then stay for the crowning of the LPH Homecoming King and Queen during half-time.

Ticket prices: Concrete Bleachers - $15, Regular Admission - $6 Students can buy Pre-Sale Football Tickets during lunch on Friday, October 3rd. Parents and Community Members can purchase Pre-Sale tickets from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm in the LPHS front office on Friday, October 3rd. The LPH Sound of the Dragon Marching Band will perform on the field at 7:15 pm before the game on Friday. Homecoming court activities will take place during halftime.

Jamie Creel is our Mid-Florida Roofing Services, Florida Lakes Spa & Florida Lakes Surgical ATHLETE OF THE WEEK WINNER! Jamie has broken both the Lake Placid High School and Highlands County records in the 200 IM with an outstanding time of 2:18.27, surpassing the previous record of 2:19.75 held by Anna Sapp (LPHS). Jamie also shattered her own LPHS and Highlands County record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:10.37. Her previous record time of 1:11.73 was set earlier this season during a dual meet against Lake Placid High School and Sebring High School. Congratulations, Jamie! 🐉 🏊‍♀️

LPH Homecoming starts at 8:00 pm, Saturday,09/28/24 No admittance after 9:00 pm. Students cannot leave before 10:00 pm without parent/guardian notification/permission when contacted by LPH staff. No shoes in the gym; wear your craziest socks. Dresses will be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee. Students are allowed to wear dark dress jeans. Students must wear a collared shirt. All pants must be worn at the natural waistline at all times. Students must attend school all day on Friday or provide a doctor’s note before 4:00 pm Friday to attend the dance. All school rules will apply during the event. The dance ends at 11:00 pm. Please have transportation arranged and at the school ready for pickup at that time.
