Thank you Highlands County Sheriff's Office - Sheriff Paul Blackman who came to campus to swear in our 5th-grade safety patrol and talk about being a student leader! After swearing in, he gave each of the students a challenge coin as a token of his appreciation for the work they are about to begin and to remember this moment! Ms. Perry, 5th Grade teacher and sponsor of the safety patrol stated that "almost 40 students are part of our patrol this year, it is a large number of leaders!" They will be seen around campus beginning on Monday at their various posts. Their impact around campus will include duties such as assisting at parent dropoff/pickup and ensuring our hallways are safe! We know they are up to the challenge and ready to show their WILD expectations as role models and mentors for our younger Wildcats! #FWEwildcats #FWE5thgrade #FWEsafetypatrol
