Thank you to all who joined us in recognizing these heroes, and a special thank you to our veterans for your service and sacrifice. 💙🐾Fred Wild Wildcats,🐾💙 we have officially kicked off the 40 book challenge for the 2024-2025 school year!!! Students will have until May 2025 to reach this goal. Once students have reached their goal of 40 books, they will receive impressive prizes. These prizes will include free books, an AR shirt, items from Scholastic, kid-friendly prizes from Amazon, and sweet treats from Mrs. Roux and our principals. Once you have met your 40 book goal, keep going to reach a new level; 80 books! Each level will come with larger prizes. We are asking for parents and guardians to encourage their student(s) to read at least 20 minutes per day. 📚Let's read, FWE!!📚 #FredWildWildcats #40BookChallenge #FWEReads #ReadForSuccess

Last year, over 75 students met and exceeded their goal of reading 40 books! This year we are "Leveling Up" and expecting 100 or more students to beat the 40!
If you start reading for 20 minutes per night in kindergarten, by the end of 6th grade, a student will have read for the equivalent of 60 school days.
🌟 Twinning Day at Fred Wild Elementary! 🌟 Today was all about fun and friendship as our students and staff matched outfits to celebrate Twinning Day!
