Night of 100 Stars is Thursday, April 11th from 5 - 7pm. We hope to see you there.
Don't forget some cash so you can take home a piece of the Night of 100 Stars! The FFA chapter will have plants available and the yearbook staff has over 20 years of yearbooks on sale! Students may also pick up their 2024 yearbook if they have not already or purchase one for $75, quantities are extremely limited.
BBQ pork dinners will also be on sale for $5.00 each.

Avon Park High School Parents and Students, we will be holding our Annual Night of Stars Event and we hope that you can join us for this, this week on Thursday evening April 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Please come to learn more about our academic programs, AP Capstone, extra-curricular activities, clubs and organizations and meet with your child’s teachers. As well, there will be performances from our band, theatre, color guard, drum line, chorus, and ROTC drill teams. There will be food, fun and door prizes for our students. BBQ dinners are also available for sale at the door for $5 while they last. This year is extra special as we will be celebrating 100 years for Avon Park High School. We will have memorabilia from the past 100 years and a walking timeline of every decade. We hope to see you at our annual parent involvement event!

Please join us at the Highlands County School District Art Show! Art from students across the district will be on display at the South Florida State College Gymnasium.
The art show will take place April 17-19 from 4-6PM and April 20 from 10AM-Noon.
Awards will take place April 19 - Elementary at 5PM, Middle and High at 5:30PM.

Calling all APHS alumni ~ Join us for the 100th celebration of APHS.
APHS received accreditation 100 years ago. It is time to celebrate. Join us for the Night of 100 Stars on Thursday, April 11th from 5 - 7pm.
There will be a walking timeline, displays of memoriabilia from community members, and you can purchase a $5 BBQ dinner (details attached). Proceeds from the BBQ dinner sales will help us purchase a 100 year commemorative plaque for display at the school.

Our Robotics team presented the Character Word of the Month at last week's school board meeting. Team members talked about integrity and the importance of having integrity as you build robot designs for competition.
Team members also gave a demonstration for school board members and community visitors. They also answered questions from the audience.
Great job Robotics! You represented APHS well!
